中國六個省份正準備向農村地區購買輕型卡車的用戶提供購車補貼，此舉是繼全國范圍內減半征收小型乘用車購置稅之后，為新一輪刺激政策鋪平道路。
據彭博新聞對公開文件的分析，河南、廣東、河北、青海、貴州和江西六省政府已經把購車補貼納入他們今年的工作規劃中。年度規劃列出了各個地區的政策重點，其中許多政策均針對農村區域。
這些激勵措施是促增長、保就業和刺激消費的全國性目標的一部分。全國乘用車市場信息聯席會秘書長崔東樹表示，更多省份可能也會隨后推出類似政策。據乘聯會數據，包括皮卡在內的輕型卡車對經銷商的銷量已連續五年下降，2011年以來已下滑20%。
