據了解，國內首批汽車電子標識產品近日正式在深圳投入使用，這說明車輛就跟公民一樣擁有一張“身份證”了。深圳市交警局首期將免費發放20萬張電子標識，主要涵蓋重型貨車、重型載貨汽車、半掛牽引車、危險貨物運輸車輛、校車、教練車等八類重點車輛安裝并進行示范應用。
據介紹，此次安裝的汽車電子標識就如同公民的“二代身份證”一樣，集成了車輛的各種相關信息。該汽車的“電子身份證”通過RFID（射頻識別）技術與現有交通監控設備結合使用，可有效識別和解決車輛真實身份，從源頭上杜絕假牌、套牌、無牌等涉牌涉證違法行為。同時也可借助該產品精確采集到的信息提供多種智能交通應用、各類涉車審驗等多種服務。
據透露、目前深圳全市重點車輛在16萬左右，首期免費發放的20萬張電子身份證足以覆蓋。其中這20萬張電子身份證標識計劃在今年的4月30日前分批完成安裝。
需要注意的是，試點工作啟動后，車輛如果未按規定安裝、故意破壞或者擅自拆除汽車電子標識的將受到處罰。據深圳交警相關負責人表示，應當安裝電子身份證的車輛如有拒絕安裝的，將限期改正，超過限期時間仍不改正將會處500元罰款。同時如果故意破壞或者擅自拆除電子身份主的由市公安機關交通管理部門處500元罰款。
